Country boy heart and big city blues. The artist and the writer.
Raised in the foothills of Wyoming’s Big Horn Mountains, Billy Rosewarne first found music’s voice through the viola — haunting, longing, and full of unanswerable questions. With little live music in his small town, the radio and his record player became his closest friends, spinning the sounds of his heroes. At 12, he picked up his first guitar under the guidance of classical guitarist Paul Lenz, who promised him: “If you learn classical guitar, you can play any music you want.”
Billy chased the rock and roll spirit of Keith Richards, Mellencamp, and Springsteen, but carried with him the depth and discipline of those early lessons. Today, he is a full-time singer/songwriter whose songs are sometimes somber, sometimes playful, but always rooted in hard truth that longs to be free. Each performance is both gift and an honor; it is a chosen life of intentional connection to the Source, and a chance to share it with you.
